About the Dolphins
The Windsor Oaks Swim Team operates under the Cobb Summer Swim League and is for families with children aged 5-18 as of May 31, 2024. Swimmers should be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted in 90 seconds at the meets. We also have a non-competitive Rookie league for swimmers ages 4-5. We represent the neighborhood of Windsor Oaks, though you do not have to be a resident to swim with us. Registration fees are per child and include a team t-shirt, swim instruction, ribbons, and participation in five league meets. The team is self-sufficient and relies heavily on parent participation. All programs are funded via registration fees and concession profits.
The goals of our team are to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills, achieve success at his or her level of ability, and have fun! The coaches emphasize teaching the value of sportsmanship and team spirit - all in a fun and friendly environment. Swimmers compete in swim meets each week in June as well as the Cobb County Patti Wilder County Meet and the Georgia Games.
We welcome all levels of swimmers, from first timers to accomplished year round swimmers. Everyone is given the attention and coaching they need to succeed!
